• There is just something about chandeliers that fascinates me. Today, you can find them out there in almost any style from classic to glamorous, to shabby chic to just plain chic and modern. So, looking for ways to incorporate chandeliers into your wedding? They don’t just need to be hung above the dance floor and tables (though we love that too)! First check out this FABULOUS event by artfool. I love the chic black and white and the event space, exposed pipes and all. The added chandeliers top everything off with a touch of modern elegance. Or how about on your invitations? Check ou...

  • Used for practical purposes in Medieval times, chandeliers have taken on a whole new meaning as a popular decorative piece. Most recently, as Diva blogger Lea has previously mentioned, chandeliers have also invaded the wedding scene and has become in its own right a sole wedding theme. Not only decorating and adding glamour and beauty to historical mansions like my wedding site seen in the picture below, but chandeliers are now being moved outdoors for a look that is simply to die for. Chandeliers bring a feeling of grandiosity and luxury to any room and because of this they are also finding ...

Ceremony Idea from Swish and Swanky: "These chandeliers are tiny; they sat in the cup of my hand. I bought 5 of them on ebay, threaded them onto some soft pink ribbon and hung them from the tree under which we took our vows."...

I was thinking of little ways to spruce up the setting for a proposal. I knew the overhanging tree’s at the proposal location needed a little something special. Kendall loves chandeliers, not sure if you’ve noticed that yet or not, so I wanted to create a make shift chandelier to hang from the trees (that I could transport via my plane flight).  I was in Lowes, and came across these cute, glass lampshades. I started to envision what I could do with the lampshades to create this chandelier type effect without having to buy one that I couldn’t transport effectively. It only required a few...

Have you noticed the chandeliers showing up in weddings lately?  The chandelier is a symbol of elegance and glamor, and can be used as a wedding accent to create an almost Marie Antoinette-vibe.  Starting with a chandelier icon printed on invitations, a sense of an upscale but very hip party is already in the minds of your guests.  Use a chandelier motif on your cake, wear them in your ears, and by all means, hang one from the ceiling.  For a more rustic-glam feel, speak with your florist about creating a wood or iron chandelier draped with flowers.  ...

I’ll never tire of using chandeliers in my designs. Apparently, neither will my brides. ...

  • When I lived in Ft. Myers about 7 years ago, I would always drive by this one jewelry store that had a gorgeous, crystal chandelier in the front window. I can remember telling my mom all the time how much I loved it. It was huge and full of colors and sparkles that you could see from the road. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of it to post here, but I have put together a great collection of chandeliers and chandelier related items that I have found recently. From classic crystal chandeliers to chandelier invites, chandelier earrings and chandelier decals, we've all seen them takin...

Every time I think I'm tiring of Pottery Barn, they do something to reel me right back in. This time it was a paper chandelier. Seriously, how great is that?! As soon as I saw it, I starting thinking how sweet and sentimental it would be to cover it with memories - sepia-toned photos, movie stubs, love notes, pages from favorite books, photobooth strips - and, of course, display at a wedding. I think it would be fab to place a paper chandelier over every table and bonus points if you figured out a way to actually illuminate it ... it could spur great conversations among guests and you could i...
