This season I haven't made a wreath for the front door like I did in the spring.  I found one that I fell in love with and bought it instead.  If I were going to make one it would look like this one.  I love how the flowers and foliage are in sections instead of mixed together.  I think it makes each decoration stand out even more.  You can make a wreath like this with natural items or go to Michael's and choose from their big selection of branches, leaves, and flowers.   (photo from bhg.com)...

If you’ve visited The Breakers, you know the Palm Beach resort has some absolutely stunning architecture. One of our team’s favorite photo spots is the two sets of grand doors. The iron gates have also been a favored photo spot among our wedding photographers for years. Our team is always enamored by the different ways our brides have been photographed at these doors, as every photographer uses them in their own unique, beautiful way. Here’s a look through the eyes of some of our photographers, and the beautiful Breakers’ Brides who have posed with our grand doors… ...

Before jumping right into my column for Design Sponge, I wanted to take some time this morning to give a quick shout out to one of our lovely sponsors, Blue Door Photography. We don’t have the opportunity to feature many seaside weddings on Once Wed, so I thought the beach photo shoot below would be the perfect bit of inspiration for couples who are planning to get married by the sea… Our main goal is very simple –  to take beautiful photos. We build relationships with our couples so we know exactly who they are, and what they are expecting on their wedding day. We love to have fun ...

I love wreaths.  It’s a strange obsession.  And honestly I’m not a fan of holiday wreaths, but for a wedding, give me a wreath for my door (or my gate, my tree, and my window…) any day! {Photo by Belathee via Garden on the Square from Grace’s wedding, via The Sweetest Occasion} {light pink square rose wreath, styling by Soiree, photo by Liz Banfield via The Bride’s Cafe; fluffy white and green wreath, floral by Nancy Liu Chin, photo by Lisa Lefkowitz, via Green Wedding Shoes} {hot pink rose wreath, photo by Mel Barlow} {pink and green vine wreath, photographed by Liz Banfield v...
