I’ve had so much fun researching all of the fantastic photographers in the Philadelphia area! There are so many different styles of photography here - I think Philadelphia brides are very well served! First up, MK Photography. The photos below are from the wedding of Kirstin and Casey. Aren’t the sepia tones magnificent? She looks so elegant and timeless in all of these photos. Portraiture is so important but many of these shots are candids, making it all the more amazing that Mike is able to capture these moments with as much depth and clarity as he did. Christiana and Brad’s adorable Philadelphia engagement session has a dog, a bike, and some ice cream. What more could anyone want? Well, we’re back in Boston after four awesome days in Palm Beach. And, I’m kind of re-thinking this whole “we should move to Boston” thing because of the four seasons. Which basically translates to really cold, pretty wet days. It’s probably just a Palm Beach hangover but still. Leaving the sun was a tad challenging. Anyway, I’m padding the blow with this absolutely darling wedding sent our way by the beautiful bride, Jasmin, and her groom, Steve…who were all about the sweet but totally elegant DIY details. Love, love, love this little gem and I know you will too. Click here to s... |

When Smirnov Weddings sent me this vintage inspired wedding set against the iconic Philadelphia backdrop, my heart skipped a beat. Having spent three years living in the City of Brotherly Love, I spent many an afternoon visiting these very spots. It's nearly impossible not to fall in love with Philly's Magic Garden or Italian Market, especially when love is already menu. The couple, Ksenia and Mitya, both hail from Russia but now call Philadelphia their home. Their wedding day was an intimate affair between just the bride and groom. The bride wore a knee length cream colored Jean Paul Gaultie... |
I’ll admit I don’t know much about Philadelphia. Rocky, cheese steak sandwiches, and that it’s where the Fresh Prince was born and raised. (And spent most of his days on the playground from what I hear). Another thing I know about Philadelphia is that is home to the LOVE statue. You know the one.I learned something new about Philadelphia today. Robert Indiana’s LOVE sculpture and the city of Philadelphia inspired this gorgeous wedding cake. This three tiered round wedding cake boasts the Philadelphia city scape on the bottom tier. The second shows off one of the city’s most famous b... |
