Oh my goodness I am so excited!! As an ode to the Royal Wedding and all things London, I have decided to revisit Keata & Jason’s A London Love Affair themed wedding. They did it in two parts with the first being a registry office with only close family and friends and a photo shoot around the Embankment with us. Followed by a second day a week later with a big white dress and a blessing. This shoot was done in the pouring rain with only one lens (no changes in that weather!). It is still one of our favourite shoots and has been published in both Cosmopolitan Bride UK and China as well as...

After months of planning, months of shopping, details and details thought out, just like any other wedding the Royal Wedding this past weekend sure caused quite a stir in the bride and groom’s life and now it’s over, it’s time to reflect on the day and our favorite parts of the day. I don’t think I’ll ever forget what it was like to watch Kate walk down the aisle in her stunning timeless gown. Kate looked radiant! Below are some of my favorite pictures of the day which was captured by Fanni Williams. Congrats to Prince William and Kate! May our heavenly father be the head of your thr...

By Laurie Since this a wedding blog… I could not pass this opportunity to say: how excited I am for this Royal Wedding. I remember as a kid waiting to see Diana & Charles. I think it is so sweet to give Kate Diana’s ring. Diana was one of the most beautiful and elegant woman [...]...

  • I couldn’t end off the week without another tip to the festivities that are set to take place in just a few hours! Our final nod this week to the royal nuptials! A fantasy if you will, of the wedding which comes to mind when one thinks “Prince William and Catherine”.I must say, while I am going to pop the bubbles tonight, and have been caught up in the royal wedding buzz all week. What I’m most looking forward to is seeing how the wedding tonight impacts the style of weddings yet to come (because it will!). Remember, if you’re having a royal wedding party tonight to share the photos ...

Most Americans that I talked to, really didn’t care about the Royal Wedding. But despite people said about not caring, 2 billion people still watched the wedding. Don’t lie, you know there’s at least a small part of you that’s fascinated. You can see the entire hour long ceremony, or a synopsis on hulu.com. And more photos on the British Monarchy’s Flikr.   Wedding dress by Sarah Burton. Photo by Hugo Burnand Many secrets were kept about the wedding, like the wedding dress made by Sarah Burton, and the location of the honeymoon. I really loved two parts of the ceremony. The first ...

  • So, we are loving the Royal Wedding. Thats a given. But although a match made in heaven (Royal Wedding meets Wedding Blog) it’s also somewhat of an ironic relationship… after all Kate is hardly going to be doing it her way, is she? Not so todays bride! The antithesis of the Royal wedding, totally irreverant, relaxed, casual and her-day-her-way, Polly (and Josh!) are just as much of an inspiration. And a welcome break from the Regal anticipation, ready for some full on flag waving tomorrow. Bring it on. But first, meet Polly, and her seriously laugh-a-minute, crazy write up! A Magical Garde...
