Most brides and grooms can’t wait to run out the door after their reception to start their honeymoon, and who can blame them! With so many last minute preparations right before the wedding they are bound to be exhausted when the reception is over. But for those couples who want to keep the party going, there is a new trend of couples throwing wedding “after” parties. These parties can take place the night of the reception or even the day after, and it gives the couple the ability to spend more time with close friends and family who they may not have spent quality time with the day of t... |

Many brides and grooms plan on having an after party after their reception. Either the couple will hire a DJ for an hour or more after the reception ends, or the DJ they hired for the reception will switch gears and begin playing more club-like music. Some couples will even switch locations for their after party.I’ve only been to a few weddings where there was an after party and for all of them we didn’t know there was going to be one until well into the reception. Friends, and in some instances the couple, asked if we were staying for the after party. Dave and I knew what an after party w... |
"Depois de todos os preparativos, depois de trocarem os votos e de terem o anel no dedo, depois de toda a excitação e alegria que partilham com amigos e familia, fazem as malas e a aventura começa! Feliz lua de mel." "After all the preparation, after you read your vows and after the ring is on your finger, after all the excitement and happiness you share with your family and friends, you pack your suitcase and them the adventure begins! Remember this dress:While I still think it would make for a sweet and simple bridesmaid's dress, I also think it will make for a fabulous after-party dress for a bride (= me). Found the darling on sale and snatched her up. Already looking forward to heading (= walking across the street) to our hotel post-wedding, changing and enjoying some late-night cocktails with a few close friends and family.... |
A day that sparkled with energy. There are some days that are electric and this was one. The After Party is not going away…I’m so lucky that I get to meet so many awesome people throughout my career. At the last after party the client hired DJ AM. This is the 3rd time I have been lucky enough to work with Adam. He is really such a down to earth sweet guy! Easy going and so nice to all the guests. His mix of music really attracts the young and older to the dance-floor! Which of course is always our goal ….to have a “Full” dance-floor!… Happy 4th off to do a fun party in Malibu. xox Mindy... |
Hillary shares all the info on the DIY - After Party Snack Bar...... In celebration of Halloween and the ridiculous amounts of bite-size candy available in bulk, I thought of a potential new twist on the lovely candy buffets that are popular and definite crowd pleasers. The idea is to serve the childhood snack favorites of yourself and your fiancée. This can easily be served at the after party and is a relatively inexpensive detail. The sign is simply scrap book letters on fabric, on poster board and framed. For your candy table…make a list of the candy/food you enjoyed as a kid ... |
