Even though Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach offers a pretty extensive package all the way from a on-site day of coordinator to the centerpieces, the Beautiful Samantha wanted to relax on her wedding day. She wanted to make sure everything was in it's place and all the details were taken care! So she hired us! We had a blast, the ring bearer was truly adorable and looking quite dapper!A few quick pics from the wonderful "Jan Garcia," this guy is so great with the candid shots.... |

I am so excited to be a part of La Toya and Micah’s wedding dream day. They have chosen an exquisite location for their nuptials, tucked away on the Los Colinas canal. It will be a Tuscany inspired outdoor ceremony with rich fall colors of burnt orange, gold and chocolate. The reception will be held indoors in a quaint and cozy room with ladder backs chairs and Italian infused art. The wedding is scheduled for November. Check back for photos. A truly unique departure will take place when the couple rides away on a gondola. ... |
A week at Napa Valley's Auberge du Soleil has always been the ultimate wine-country honeymoon. The inn has rooms you'll never want to leave—each has a private balcony and many have posh extras like fireplaces and soaking tubs. Its restaurant serves Michelin-starred cuisine (a recent menu included squid-ink risotto with prosciutto and wild shrimp) with spot-on wine pairings. And its extravagant spa works the area's grapes, olive oil, and herbs into its treatments. Now, with the launch of a brand-new deck that offers panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves, it's wedding-r... |

Last night, three of us (Christine, Laura and Amanda above) had the pleasure of attending the opening premiere of The Gaylord National's new waterfront event space, RiverView Terrace. This space is situated right on the water and offers what brides (and wedding planners) love--a blank canvas to customize. We're always looking for large open space because, let's face it, D.C. is the home of charming historical spaces that hold 150 people max. So a flat, expansive lawn on the water is a dream come true!Ideally situated facing west along the Potomac, RiverView Terrace offers a dramatic setting wi... |
I promised some images from my Tuesday wedding a couple weeks ago, and here they are! Mary and Robert were such a super sweet couple from New Mexico, and we planned everything over the phone and internet. They wanted to have a fun wedding, and were so easy going about it, that they ended up picking a Tuesday night. They also chose local restaurant/nightclub Medjool for their venue on the roof top terrace with some of the best views in the city.Everything was beautiful from the multi-course family style dinner to the sparkling San Francisco skyline once the sun went down. The simple flowers wer... |
. . . late-spring rain and blustery breezes, and lately there are fallen petals everywhere -- between the cobblestones, and winter-worn fountains, on boxwood hedges and in secret gardens -- and the scent of freshly picked roses in etched glass vases and beautiful bouquets of lilies of the valley are enough to make one wish for every morning on the terrace . . .......................................................................................................{p.s.} recent two lovely things:* green & white* open shelves & elegant black* bar carts & blossoms* books & bouquets* ... |
Annie and Mike's big day was all about making the best in every situation. Sometimes, that meant making magic happen in the most unexpected of places, but most of the time, we were just there to capture the magic between two blissfully happy people ready to make a life-long commitment to one another. Of course, and their 5-hour party to party to follow. We are always thankful for whatever circumstances the location or weather throws at us, because it pushes us to be the best photographers we can be. We have to think fast, pull together all our resources, and somehow still manage to make the exp... |
Earlier this week, we were honored to participate in the IMAJNZ Foundation’s “A Date with a Plate” event at The Phoenixville Foundry. Inspired by his love for Central and South American travel, Brian Kappra created his own tropical paradise with “Dinner on the Terrace in Buzios.“ Photos Courtesy of Marie Labbancz. The IMAJNZ Foundation was founded just three short years ago by our good friends Judi Goodman and Sharyn Berman as a fundraising organization created specifically to support selected public charities in the Greater Philadelphia area. As it did in 200... |
