Lately, the two of us have had an utter fascination with the bold and outspoken color, fuchsia!  We adore pink in all it’s forms but who can argue with a color that demands this much attention ;) The inspiration for this particular board is our Regency Fuchsia wedding invitation set.  The first image we found was the oh-so-stunning and glamorous wedding reception image (middle left).  The perfect blend of vintage and modern – feathers, stands dripping with jewels & bold black and white damask patterns offset by popping pink. It is truly a sight to behold!  If you would like to see ...

  • The new Martha Stewart Weddings is out and has a beautiful feature on the colour combination of fuchsia and taupe. The taupe really makes the fuchsia pop, but it’s a little softer on the eye than fuchsia paired with white. The warm undertones give a cosy feel, but can be made cooler if paired with the right colour. Taupe is such a lovely neutral colour that it can really work with any colour scheme Bolds and Brights Tangerine green Lime green Cherry red Aqua Purple Modern Moody Gunmetal gray Black Chocolate Brown Silver Teal Soft and sweet White Pale green Pale yellow Pale Pink Pale...

My mom has the most amazing talent with flowers and plants and all things garden or lawn.  When we moved into our new home, she made three hanging baskets and two potted arrangements for our front porch.  Oh, and did I mention she drove 4 hours out of her way to deliver them to us so that we would have them for a party we were hosting for our brother-in-law?  Amazing, right?  The baskets and pots are stunning; they're full of Elephant's Ears and Rabbit's Foot Ferns (which are, by the way, the creepiest/most amazing plant I've ever seen!) and my new favorite flower--Fuchsia!  It's aptly na...

Goodmornin' dolls! This summer I have been thinkin' up on some new and fresh color palettes that are classy, soft, and timeless. I'm adoring the combination of fuchsia, cream and dusty rose because it is so romantic and whimsical! Just fuchsia could be a little too girly and bright, and just dusty rose could be a little dull, but together they all create the perfect touch of romance and serenity. I hope you're all loving it as much as I am! xoxKaitViaViaViaViaVia...

This board was inspired by the photo of the bride with the fabulous Balenciaga scarf and the bike, and I picked up on the colors from the scarf to translate into a color palette of turquoise, fuchsia, green and yellow. The bride's ruffled Melissa Sweet 'Billie' dress inspired the ruffled cake topped with fresh pink flowers, and the tablescape has a sophisticated and clean look with taupe, white and pops of pink. I love the idea of patterns being used, maybe for the bridesmaids dresses or even for lounge seating during the cocktail hour.Credits: Click, then rollover photos for credits/links. ...

Far and away one of our recent favorite designs is this pretty letterpress invitation, our Linnea design printed in fuchsia and turquoise inks. Maiko and Adam opted to have our eco specs printed on the reverse of their invitations (a free optional promotion!) to let their friends and family know about their own eco commitment. A bright and cheerful response card requesting replies be made at the couple’s website rounds out the suite, vibrant and festive for this Hawaii garden wedding. ...

One of my favorite color combination’s is tangerine and fuchsia. It’s a fun, vibrant color pairing that can still feel very sophisticated when matched with cream, ivory or even black. Perfect for summer-y weddings, you can also give guests a cool surprise (that perfectly matches your color palette, of course!) by serving Creamsicle pops in orange/vanilla and raspberry/vanilla flavors!
