This week we’ll be featuring some of the highlights from IW Bride Blogger Carey’s intimate wedding in New Hampshire. Take it away Carey! By Carey, IW Bride Blogger I bought my wedding dress before we were officially engaged. It came out of a box some random morning at work (Anthropologie), and I gasped. That is it! I have loved it ever since. And it waited so patiently in a box inside my closet for me to finally wear it on our wedding day. When it finally went on sale, I bought a second dress which also waited patiently for me to finally have someone make a bolero out of the skirt for me... |
One of the newer wedding trends that I was so excited to find out about was wearing bright colored shoes with your wedding dress! I had never really heard of the idea until one of my really good friends told me she was wearing bright red shows with her dress. I found this to be such an exciting concept. How awesome? This might not be a new idea to most but for me it is! My friend looked FANTASTIC in her red shoes and she rocked the hell out of them! She danced all night in them! They even matched her bridesmaids dress color. This is a small way to add color to your dress and add a part of your... |

I love the versatility of shoe clips ~ they’re perfect for breathing new life into a well-loved pair of shoes, or they can really dress up an otherwise Plain Jane pair you already own. I think these four designs are especially pretty for brides and/or bridesmaids! And don’t think you can only use shoe clips on the front of your shoes ~ certain styles look really cute clipped at the back, as well! b. Poetic’s clips are bohemian chic little ivory flowers with leather backs. Chloe & Maddie’s Tiffany blue clips feature vibrant and delicate feathers ~ they have lots of other colors to c... |
So my wonderful, stylish grandma is throwing a fancy party in honor of my marriage (small wedding, already happened). After puzzling over what to wear as not-the-wedding-dress, I found this great vintage item (this is not me but it's the dress). But shoes? Arg, shoes. This is my last chance for guilt-free wedding-related shopping. I request your wisdom in this situation. ***** HELP YOU GUYS I'VE GOT NOTHING. Are you bored with this yet??... |
