I was visiting my mother yesterday, and as I was looking through her old albums, my heart skipped a beat -- I'd stumbled upon my parents' wedding photos. Their wedding took place in the summer of 1968 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. My mother, having just arrived from Switzerland to settle in a new country with my father, wore a lace mini dress and held a sweet bouquet of jasmine and yellow roses.
