When I’m creating event designs I often look to the
Pantone Seasonal Color Report. During New York Fashion Week, the biggest trendsetters and fashion influencers decide what colors will drive seasonal sales and trends. I love the color selection for Fall 2010. From vibrant pops to warm earthiness, I can see visions of wedding and event design dance in my head. My favorite color choice from the Pantone Fall 2010 Trend Report is Oyster Gray. Many people equate gray with a cool and sterile feeling. But gray can also envelop you with a sense of calm and security. Below I share an inspiration board showing you just how gorgeous and inviting this color can be!

Tiffany & Co. introduced their new leather collection today. Famous for the gorgeous diamonds and other fine jewelry, they have now forayed into the luxury handbag market. Tiffany had acquired Lambertson Truex mid 2009 and through this new acquisition, have designed for them, some beautiful and timeless purses.
Classic Tiffany touches are infused in each piece – including custom designed hardware, Tiffany Blue leather interiors, and Tiffany Blue enamel.
“The collection captures the spirit of American sportswear and its exuberant approach to life in town, in the country and from coast to coast,” says Richard Lambertson. “We also find great inspiration in Tiffany’s timeless style and its heritage of refined accessories.” Referring to the duo’s design process, John Truex says that “we might start with a particular color or silhouette and then draw from Tiffany’s world of beauty and sophistication to make a new design.
