Wine Colored Wedding Bouquets

categories: Guest Posts Tags: ,
Another great post from our guest blogger Emily Caan at Table 6 Productions Love these gorgeous wine colored bouquets – perfect for a fall wedding or for weddings held at wineries and vineyards.
There is something about dark wedding bouquets that have a beauty that is unmatched by brighter ones. Because they are so uncommon in weddings, especially as a bridal bouquet, they hold this mysterious aura to them and demand attention too. A dark bouquet has a sophistication and exquisiteness to them and makes a wonderful statement. It also creates a great contrast against white or ivory dress so everyone will absolutely notice it as soon as you turn the corner to walk down the aisle. They have a very dramatic and exotic look and the flowers that come in the deeper shades are gorgeous and simply elegant. Deeper shaded bouquets are especially good for fall and winter weddings but if you’re looking for an impression then be sure to check out some of these pics! Enjoy!

Fall 2010: Pantone Oyster Gray for Weddings

Tami from Fabulously Wed is our guest blogger today! I love the color Oyster Gray. It’s a very warm gray that can work well with several colors for your wedding.
When I’m creating event designs I often look to the Pantone Seasonal Color Report. During New York Fashion Week, the biggest trendsetters and fashion influencers decide what colors will drive seasonal sales and trends. I love the color selection for Fall 2010. From vibrant pops to warm earthiness, I can see visions of wedding and event design dance in my head. My favorite color choice from the Pantone Fall 2010 Trend Report is Oyster Gray. Many people equate gray with a cool and sterile feeling. But gray can also envelop you with a sense of calm and security. Below I share an inspiration board showing you just how gorgeous and inviting this color can be!

Donuts – The Wedding Cake and Cupcakes Alternative

categories: Guest Posts Tags: ,
Today’s post is brought to you by our wonderful guest blogger Emily Cann from Table 6 Productions! She’ll be guest blogging for us on a regular basis, so keep an eye out for her gorgeous inspiration boards and interesting topics!
If you are one of those brides that don’t like wedding cake, a great alternative is doughnuts. They’re one of the hottest trends in desserts, and they’re starting to pop up on weddings all over the place instead of cupcakes or macarons. They are so fun and super easy to work with! They can come in all your favorite flavors and the icing can be done to your liking. They can match you wedding colors and theme. They come in all sizes so you can make a super unique look and cater to appetites of all sizes. They are soft and scrumptious and because they are so different, guests will surely notice them. Hopefully everyone will have a chance to take one before they are all gone! The best part is the icing and the soft dough tastes just as sweet and delicious as the cake and frosting in a wedding cake but costs so much less! If you don’t think doughnuts can be elegant, then check out the pictures below! Enjoy!

The Aisle New York Discounted Couture Wedding Gowns
This guest post is brought to you by the lovely Tami Brown of Fabulously Wed. She’ll be guest blogging here on a regular basis, so keep your eye out for her wonderful posts!
You’re engaged! It’s the most exciting time of your life. One of the first things most brides begin to do is search for “THE” dress. You know the one that makes your heart go pitter patter. It has the perfect silhouette, was created by the designer you love and you can literally close your eyes and see yourself sauntering down the aisle in that dress on wedding day as happy as you have ever been. After all, you are the epitome of high fashion and you’re known for shutting it down everywhere you go. But let’s face it. Shopping for high fashion in today’s recession has even the most couture savvy gal tightening up
her purse strings.
Let’s take Miss Priss for example. She has her eye on a FABULOUSLY exquisite Oscar de la Renta wedding gown. Alas, the price tag is astronomically outside of her budget. She considered waiting until next season when she can catch it on sale but quickly learns that wedding gowns are seasonal and oftentimes difficult to source once the next season rolls around. The price is not very negotiable. And being plowed down at Filene’s Basement in the rare hope of scoring said gown isn’t exactly the rite of passage she hopes for. After a handful of failed attempts at negotiating down, Miss Priss feels the only way she will see herself in this Oscar de la Renta masterpiece is by closing her eyes and daydreaming. Until now… This fall, a team of world-renowned and reputable fashion industry insiders are unveiling the perfect solution.
Bridal experts David Yassky (celebrity fashion editor and stylist), Shara Levy (lawyer-turned-unofficial wedding planner), Deborah Moses (former editor of Elegant Bride) and Mark Ingram (owner of The Bridal Atelier in New York City) have combined their knowledge of bridal fashion and love of weddings to give brides around the world access to wedding dress designers at discount prices through this amazing platform.
The Aisle New York is the first membership-only luxury e-commerce website and online magazine that showcases the most exclusive brands in bridal in limited engagement, timed-sale boutiques at rock bottom prices! Members of The Aisle New York will receive email notices of upcoming sales. With just a few short clicks, brides will have access to top designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Angel Sanchez, Monique Lhullier, Reem Acra, Alberta Ferretti, Marchesa and more! This news alone has me GASPING and SWOONING!
So what can you score at The Aisle New York? Besides amazing wedding gowns, there will also be amazing deals on designer veils and headpieces, fine jewelry, lingerie, shoes and evening bags that can easily go beyond wedding day.
Ladies, listen up… you don’t have to live vicariously through images in wedding glossies and blogs. It’s your time to shut it down in your red carpet moment. You absolutely must experience all that your wedding planning journey has to offer, including scoring the fiercest most fabulous wedding gown you can!
